Evaluation of the Spatial Quality of Apartments from Different Price Categories Using the Visibility Graph Analysis: A Case of Tirana, Albania

During the last decade, there has been massive growth in construction of large residential complexes and apartment blocks Tirana. Urban density is increasing due to fact that traditional low-story villas are demolished, space former private gardens used for new with high built ratio. The public areas which adequate such dense cities not provided therefore residents have a tendency spend more time indoors. This research aims evaluate spatial qualities newly constructed 3+1 apartments using Space Syntax visibility graph analysis (VGA). VGA allows compare overall exposure room, estimate its level privacy control check if it suitable assigned function. Analysis performed different price levels order find influence design quality comfort. results show degree separation domains corresponds an increase apartment. visual hall higher comparison living facilitates movement towards individual rooms without interaction other family members.
